Wanting to make something that feels like a busy Friday night in the summer, I decided to make the entire EP revolve around the discovery of summer, the sun, and the good feelings that accompany it, and what's a good pop project without a little heartbreak? I mixed my favourite things about modern pop using synths and arpeggiators to compliment the vocals, and a more vintage disco sound like the use of the four-on-the-floor beat style and heavy emphasis on a separate strings melodies, to make one of my favourite projects I've written.
